“ΑΝ ΚΑΠΟΤΕ ΠΕΡΝΑΣ”
Η LuLu εξέρχεται της οθόνης ,
αποκτά υπόσταση και φωνή,
πιάνει το μικρόφωνο και μουρμουρίζει το τραγούδι της
στο αυτί μας.
Σημείο εκκίνησης «Το πνεύμα της γης» (1895) ,
θεατρικό έργο του frank Wedekind
και η κινηματογραφική
ταινία « Lulu-Το κουτί της
Πανδώρας» (1928) του George W. Pabst
που καθιέρωσε το πρόσωπο – σύμβολο της Luise Brooks.
Έπονται οι παραστάσεις
στην Ελλάδα (1993)
με την συνύπαρξη βωβού κινηματογράφου
και «μουσικής
επιτόπου» .
Από αυτές τις σχέσεις εικόνας – ήχου, οθόνης-σκηνής,
σιωπής και
μουσικής, παρελθόντος και παρόντος,
μυθολογίας και ανατροπής, ξεκίνησαν οι
διάλογοι του δίσκου.
Ανοιχτές διαδρομές και αγκαλιές στον χρόνο…

Lulu walks out of the screen.
She gathers substance
and voice,
pick up the microphone and whispers her song in our ears.
Starting
points: Frank Wedekind’s play “Earth spirit” (1895)
and the film by Georg
W.Pabst,
“ Lulu – Pandora’s box” (1928) ,
which established the face-symbol of
Luis Brooks.
Next stop : the 1993 performances in Greece,
where the silent
movie and music-in-situ existed side by side.
It was these relationships of
picture and sound,
screen and stage, silence and music, past and present,
myth
and subversion that shaped the dialogues on this album.
